Because apparently nobody knows about this channel....
Here is some footage of the Shelby GT350 and the GT350R on the track.
Looks to be on the same track as the video that was posted on the FP a few days ago.
Pump up the volume. :)

Slightly off/on topic but how much would it take to bring a lesser model up to and beyond that of the KR? EG: what’s the cost difference between a GT and KR and now much do I need to spend to surpass the stats of the KR? Will it be more, less, same?
Same can be said for SS and ZL1, RT and SRT (regular, hellcat would be a stretch and major challenge).

I can’t wait till the configuration goes live for this.

KR? Is that the GT350? I’m fairly certain that’s not a King Ranch...

Sorry, GT350. I was thinking the GT500KR. It’s all in the for family.
Though Mustang King Ranch could be interesting...

Yeah I goobered my models. in this case it’s supposed to be 350 vs GT.

Honestly if you want a high-reving flat plane crank V8, it’s prolly cheaper to buy the Gt350 than it would be to upgrade a regular GT to match or beat it.

Well in that case, you’d have to take your Coyote engine into a specialist that can somehow turn it into a flat-plane crank engine like the Voodoo. It’s not unheard of, I recall reading about an LS7 that was modified into a flat-plane, but it’s not a simple swap of crankshafts, either. I imagine the suspension modifications would be fairly straight-forward, but if there’s any software involved for active management, you’ll be up a creek.
Granted, you could just mod up the Coyote to similar power levels, but the draw on the GT350 lies partly in the uniqueness of the engine, not just its performance stats.

So sounds like the 350 would be easier then.

I am probably in the minority but I dont think it sounds all that great. I almost think the Coyote engine sounds better. It certainly isn’t on par even with the BMW S65, which has similar ability to rev, let alone a Ferrari flat plane v8. But I would venture to guess that wasn’t their target in terms of sound.
